Pussimbing is a well-known tea estate in West Bengal, India. It is located about 6 kilometers from the Ghoom railway station in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region. It is a bio-organic tea plantation and has 100% China Bushes. The Plantation converted to 100% organic cultivation since 1994 and certified by IMO control, ''Switzerland''. The 201-hectare area is covered by tea plant cultivation out of 500 acres. The plantation was extended by the British Planters in 1911 and today, this is only one of source of finest Bio-dynamically grown organic tea in the Queen of Hills Darjeeling. The resident of tea plantation speaks Gorkhali language and 15% people worked in tea plantation. This is divided into 3 divisions - Pussimbing Division, Lami & Minjoo Division,and Kothi Dhura Division. Hydroelectric power run the machinery that helps minimize the pollution in the sensitive area and it aids saving of fossil fuels.
